The Restaurant

Enjoy our traditional Franconian cuisine with international influences. Try a Franconian specialty, a “Schäuferl”, a Franconian “Brotzeit” or choose from our daily changing menu. For our head-chef products from the region and seasonal dishes are very important. Enjoy Franconian carps and trouts from the Erlengrund fishing grounds, asparagus, various mushrooms throughout the whole year and game from the hunting grounds around the hotel, hunted by the family Leißner.

To guarantee the freshest products, all our potatoes, a variety of vegetables and salads are home grown. Furthermore cherries, apples, pears and plums for jams and cakes are from our own fruit-bearing trees.

And, of course, there are some accompanying drinks: Franconian wine from the wine yards “Bernhard Völker” and “Gebr. Geig. jun.“ or a Franconian beer, from the brewery “Tucher“. To Your Health and Enjoy.

The restaurant for both houses is situated in the Inn just 5 walking minutes away from the hotel. The kitchen is open daily from 11:30 am and serves meals throughout the whole day. The restaurant can host up to 80 people. There is no day off.

During the winter months our kitchen offers you on special occasions a candle-light-dinner and during the summer months the beer garden under a 140 years old linden tree and cherry trees is opened daily due to the weather conditions.
